Mr. Rager

A few months ago I had the pleasure of doing makeup for the Kid Cudi video "Mr. Rager".  I did the beauty makeup and the talented Nick Poyner and myself did the effects. It was such an awesome shoot that took place all in an abandoned building in Manhattan.  I love doing location shoots in any dilapidated building and have shot in several abandoned insane asylums, an abandoned beach house, and an abandoned hospital to name a few. The "Mr. Rager" video was directed by the very talented Jeremie Rozan from Surface to Air. The video debuted last month during NYC's Fashion Night Out.  I'm excited to see it blowing up on the internet. Earlier this summer I did makeup for a brand spanking new t-shirt line made by the extremely talented designer Diana Eng .  Diana Eng was one of the contestants on season two of Project Runway and is also one of the sweetest people I know. I love her amazing light up dresses and she even has this super awesome dress that inflates.  Her new t-shirt line is super unique, each shirt has patterns inspired by floral anatomy that are laser cut into the shirt.  The result is a more sophisticated but also punk rock look.  Check out her innovative designs on her website:

Gun Hill Road opens this weekend in NYC and LA

Last summer I had the opportunity to work on a wonderful independent film called "Gun Hill Road".  I was the makeup artist for the lovely Judy Reyes(from NBC's "Scrubs") and I also did special effects for the film.  The film debuted at Sundance and now is doing a limited theatrical run.  Please check it out if you can.  It's a great story and a must see movie.
